    I've gone with 10-46s forever but recently stepped down to 9-42s on the Artist II and happiness ensued. It may be that my playing style has changed and I like them a bit snakier. Or that I'm just a little less ham-fisted than once upon a time and don't push the strings out of tune all the time...
