Does anyone have experience mounting a Bigsby or Duesenberg Les Trem on their McCarty 594 Hollowbody II? I have both of these trems on a Gibson SG and Les Paul and wondering if the bolt holes will match up on the PRS as well. Cheers!

If they came out with a semi hollow of the S2 Studio I would be on it quick-like.

I wonder why PRS doesn't load more of their line with them? The only thing on the reasonably affordable end seems to be that SE baritone.

Has anyone upgraded the pickups on their Mira? The stock set-up seems somewhat muddy to me. I would imagine the coil-tap function affects the choices. Kinda new to this. Thanks, Michele

Thanks. Maybe not on this guitar then. Yeah, it looks like PRS might recommend the Floyd Rose style, which probably comes with its own set of drawbacks I suppose.

I love my S2 Mira Semihollow, but really miss the tremolo on my Strat. Anyone think having a Bigsby installed on a Mira is problematic?

Sa-weet! Yeah, there's something about the black that dirties up the color. Plus the white increases that retro vibe.

Okay, so by far the hardest part of the process was keeping the PUP springs in place while screwing the new pick guard on. Thanks guys for the words of encouragement.

One more thing? I got the knobs off but the toggle switch cap is a bit of a bear. I don't want to ruin it but it doesn't slip off as easy as say, a strat's toggle cap. Someone said use a blow dryer to heat it up but not sure I want a blow dryer by my finish.

Hi, I'm the happy new owner of a seafoam, semi hollow Mira! And will be changing out the pick guard from black to white pearloid. Now, I've replaced pick guards before but with much less finesse. I want to do this right. Any warnings? I'm guessing I just need to wrap the knobs with cloth or...
