    Vela with a trem

    The Vela VR is awesome, and I’m a big Vernon Reid fan, but I really don’t want a Floyd Rose. I like the trem on my Core Custom 24, so a Vela with a similar trem is fine. I’m also fine with the pickups the S2 Vela comes with.

    I have been using Ernie Ball Slinky Cobalts 10-46. Would like to tune down a whole step, and if it would work down to Open C. At what gauge would I have to modify the nut? Thanks

    I'm trying to decide between getting a MM baritone used vs. buying a new 277. Has anyone played both guitars and can give a comparison? I will probably wait for the 2016 Experience event and buy it there.

    So....what did you pick up at Experience?

    I think all of us married PRS owners have great wives: At Experience 2011, I got a Custom 24 Black Gold Burst and then this year I got a 2013 Angelus SE Custom acoustic/electric. A big thank you to all the ladies out there. See you all next year.
