    I had no idea that warranty registration must be done within 30 days of purchase. I bought an S2 Custom 22 in last December. So am I without the PRS warranty?

    An old Santana SE in excellent condition sells for around $400 on eBay on a good day. The EMG 81 doesn't add any value because most buyers don't want a modded guitar. So you can guess the value.

    Is there a wiring diagram for the S2 Custom 22/24? The PRS customer support site doesn't have one.

    Polepieces out of alignment

    You'll find that the strings don't *perfectly* line up with the pole pieces on most guitars. If that bothers you, you should use pickups that do not show pole pieces.

    What SE neck? My S2 neck is much beefier than the neck of an SE SC I used to own.

    If you didn't like the tone of the S2 SC, why did you buy it? A pickup change won't give you that thick, creamy LP tone.     Since the POD is your core sound, why bother with a tube amp & its EQ? Modelers work best with FRFR active monitors.

    Where did you buy the light pickup mount rings? I bought a couple WD pickups rings to replace the black ones on my S2. The inner dimension of the WD ring is a little bit larger than that of the stock S2 ring, leaving some space around the pickup.

    Since Eric Johnson hasn't talked about a tonal difference caused by chrome vs. nickel plating, plating doesn't make a difference.
