Are Fiore and Silver Sky SE Tremelo Bridge the Same?

So when I refer to "core saddles", I mean the most common ones you find on a core model with the 6 post bridge. I don't have a Silver Sky SE so I've never actually seen one in the flesh. But what I do know, is that neither the "core saddles" (the ones with the circular hole in the middle, kind...

    PRS SE Fiore

I think unlikely. But if you asked me two years ago if there would be a McCarty 594 SE, or a SAS SE, I would have said absolutely not a chance. So what the hell do I know? Cue the announcement on a Fiore SE.

Are Fiore and Silver Sky SE Tremelo Bridge the Same?

I can provide some first hand insight on this. At first glance, they appear to be the same bridge. However, the issue I encountered is the grooves they put in the plate for the low and high E strings to “lock” the saddles in place. I’m not a fan of the bent saddles, so I e-mailed PRS and asked...

    Played a Fiore today

Sure thing. Yeah I was pretty bummed because I’m not a fan of the bent saddles, but it is what it is. I did swap out the actual grub screws from the core saddles into the bent saddles, because they are also shorter. So now none of them are sticking out of the top of the saddles. So that’s an...

    Played a Fiore today

PRS told me the same thing. But they don’t fit right. The width between the grub screws on the Fiore saddles is slightly wider than both PRS core saddles, and John Mann’s SS SE replacement saddles. On the low and high E, one grub screw will fit into the groove in the plate, but the other does...

    Fiore question

Thanks! Oh it’s double ziptied on all four corners, that’s a solid wood dresser drawer. It’s very heavy. I live in southern California so I made sure if there was an earthquake, that rack wasn’t going anywhere. Couldn’t pull it off if I tried.

    Fiore question

Dude, that is a fantastic collection. I love the colors and it's diverse. Enjoy the Fiore my guy, it's an addicting guitar. It's sitting around my neck as I type this. Here's the rack:

    Fiore question

The humbucker is certainly regular size, the single coils I suspect are too, but I’m not 100%. The real reason I’m replying is because I’ve had my Black Iris Fiore since March and to this day I am absolutely smitten. It is hands down the best guitar I have ever played and I’ve played thousands...

    Bridge Adjustment Question SC58

Oh jesus. I don't even know where to start. I can't seem to post here anymore without being attacked. I'm out of here. And go on and rip on me for saying that...Peace out.

    Bridge Adjustment Question SC58

You should be fine, just take care to grip the screwdriver so you don't drop it and ding up the top. Happens easily if your not mindful of it. Also, like all adjustments on a guitar, go slow. Don't make any drastic adjustments at once. Small amounts, retune, check playability, continue to...

    Incoming NGD!!

No one guessed right yet. There's only a few things it could be, so I'm sure someone will get it now.

    Tried a new CE24 today...

P.S.- As a side note, if it were called an "S2 CE24" then I would have zero issue and it would make perfect sense.
