Most of my guitars are Custom 24's. I have played MA Pete's 40+ 24.5" guitars and I did not like the upper fret access. Yes, the 594 IS noticeably roomier. I do agree it seems a bit much...

Hi, Sorry for the loss of your brother. I lost a sister a number of years ago. She was 16 years older than me so it was a different relationship but there is a scar. I'm glad you are playing agian, it can be very cathartic.

I like the IDEA of soap bars but I had one for a while and couldn't hang with the noise.

On other guitars: Nitro can have a cool look as it ages. It was the original, so vintage is cool. Warn in vibe... Poly looks mint and shiny. Very durable holding the look. Differences in sound - don't believe the haters.
