I own three Santana SE's and a Maryland Custom 24. Mostly play at church and I play the Santanas as much as the core. Santana SE's is a great guitar. No negative comments at all. The only mod I have done is install strap locks and grover 406 tuners.
I bought a new Santana SE in 2012. Shortly thereafter I bought a Core Custom 24. Both are great guitars. I have since purchased two more Santana SE's. Most of the time the core sits in its case while I play the SE's. Something about the Santana SE that I prefer over the core.
I have this guitar. Bought at GC in 2016. My research through PRS cust service revealed it was a special run made exclusively for GC. It was actually produced for GC and did not include a gig bag at the time.

I have a custom SE 24 and a Core ten top custom 24. The core, of course has the locking tuners. Well, I got the SE out last night and realized, this thing is in perfect tune and I haven't used it for some time. so, guess I'll stay with those stock tuners.
