    My EDS-1275 weighs just a little over 13 lbs. It's almost to heavy for the lap but I could put four legs on it and call it a steel guitar. Gibson Sho-Bud.

    Thanks Tom. I will do that. I also had a question about the signatures as applied to a Brazilian neck that don't seem to be under any sort of clear coat and that would be a good time to call them about that as well.

    Yup, both the fingerboard as well as the neck, and the back of the headstock therefore, are rosewood. I will contact PRS and be as careful as possible. Thanks again everyone!
