PRS DGT SE Muddy Tone / HX Stomp tone comparison

Already sounds better! For a Billy Gibbons tone try one of the Marshall Plexi modeled amps. I use the Brit Plexi Jump for gigs with a Dual Cab (4x12 Blackback 30 / 4x12 Cali V30)

PRS DGT SE Muddy Tone / HX Stomp tone comparison

Happy to compare it. I'll try to do a recording of mine if I can. The impedance shouldn't change the overall volume; I'll play it with it today to see what effect I notice

PRS DGT SE Muddy Tone / HX Stomp tone comparison

I use a DGT SE through a Helix Floor (Gigs) and Stomp (Home use). I've not found it to be muddy. Try setting the Stomp In-Z to Auto; no real need to change it from that (in my experience - ymmv). Add an amp and cab to the signal path. Try the US Deluxe Nrm model with a 1x12 Open Cream cab, 57...

    DGT SE Goodness

Had my PRS SE DGT for almost a year. It's my no.1 gigging guitar. Only think I've changed is to put locking tuners on for ease of string changes and swapped the knobs for core ones (for no reason other than the look). I love it!

    Live sound changing??

I understand this... I use a Helix directly through the PA and monitor system. I switched from my main guitar being an HSS strat (Suhr Thornbucker Plus in the bridge) to a DGT SE. What I've found is that I had to re-EQ my patches to suit the DGT; I now have different patches depending on the...

New Amp -OR- Midpriced modelers -OR- Is anyone here (still) playing a Tonex?

I use a Tonex on my practice board at home and I love it. I spend a few quid (bucks...) on some captures by Amalgam Captures and I get some great tones. Not tried it live yet as my Helix is perfect for that. I am very sold on modellers so I've forgotten what a great valve amp is like, but I'm...

    NGD SE DGT!

It's now my no.1 gigging guitar and making me explore whether I can stretch to a core DGT...

    TPS - Simon McBride

I'm sure many will have seen this, which came out on Friday. But definitely worth a watch (for the first 2 minutes of playing alone!)...

NGD and Review: The Fabulous SE 594

That's a stunner! It's great when you find a guitar that speaks to you like that

    These Go To Eleven.

If I'm honest I had no idea when I bought it; Peach guitars set it up with 11's for me as it's a gigging guitar

    These Go To Eleven.

David Grissom talks about how some guitars work better with 11's and some with lighter gauges. I use 11s for all my gig guitars as we tune a half-step but my home guitars are all 10s. Ultimately, doesn't matter if they feel and sound good!

    The Jam Band thread

I love this song. I was introduced to Goose because of this thread and now they're pretty much all I'm listening to

This might keep me from playing out…(warning graphic image)

Looks very painful! Be well soon

Fabulous day both in studio and on stage!

Isn't it great when a song presents itself to you? Happens very rarely to me but when it did, it was magical. What a lovely story and reading it was a great way to start my day. Thank you
