Now this makes total sense. I had a pauls guitar, sold it stupidly, than saw the 24-08 had the same pickups and got one.. and was totally disappointed. I don't like the 85/15 pickups, but the TCI ones sounded so good

I don't know what it is, but I've owned both those guitars, and the pauls guitar was so much better overall. It sounded much better. Even though they are apparently the same pickups, the 24-08 sounded much harsher, the Paul's guitar sounded so creamy and beautiful. I regret selling that guitar...

Do they generally release new SE colours this time of year too? Was potentially going to grab a black SE but kind of want to wait to see if they release new colours

Yep agreed. I've even owner an SE 24-08 in EV and it looked way different. This one is still a stunner, just a weird colour.

Was inquiring about this guitar, the two pics are the same guitar. The seller sent me a picture in normal store lighting, and the other was a "professional" shot for reverb. It doesn't quite look like eriza verde to me. It's like a yellow-y/green burst. I'm not too familiar with how PRS does...

Ended up getting a 1x12 open back cab with celestion vintage 30. Great sounding! Might be grabbing a vintage creamback and seeing what a like better
