I use my Archon 100 at bedroom (and louder) sounds now. Uncontrollable lower volume is the #1 reason why I bench amps (Looking at you Rectoverb 25) so I was hoping this little lunchbox would be more forgiving, ill wait and see. Will probably grab a Helix next before a MT15 though.

Dammit. This is what I was afraid of. Volume taper of a Mesa FTL. Yeah yeah I get that amps are supposed to be loud but there is absolutely nothing wrong with actually having to turn the knob to get there...guess I'll wait to play one live before picking one up. Or waiting for the early...

I can't begin to describe the stuff I've cleaned off the horns and pickups of my guitars...he's 17 months old so I'll let you use your imagination...he absolutely goes ballistic when I let him strum the strings with me so I try to encourage that as much as possible and keep my winces as internal...

I have no issues with the guitar itself (other than wishing there was routing for HSS), my other reply was in response to the moderator editing out it's retail price from my earlier comment about how it comes with a gig bag instead of a hardshell case. I have kids at home so I need bulletproof...

I'd prefer whining to a snarky keyboard warrior any day of the week personally. :D

So it's taboo to mention the retail price of the guitar here? ;)
