    My new guitar!

It feels as good in my hands as it sounds. Lots of delicious tones and, like other PRS guitars, has that feel of quality workmanship. It's a joy.

    My new guitar!

It's black gold burst. I guess the difference is the "burst" has the binding.

    My new guitar!

It sounds phenomenal. Better than I had hoped. I usually either a Fender Twin Reverb or a Fuchs ODS50

    Worth of old PRS 24?

Correct. I'm just trying to get an idea of the value of these old ones I have not played in ages. I'm not trying to sell.

    Worth of old PRS 24?

Yes, the pickups and electronics are all original. There is probably some minor cosmetic damage. I would have to inspect more closely. At one point I changed the saddles on the Standard to graphite saddles. These guitars have not been out of their cases in over 20 years.

I have two custom 24s that I purchased back in the 80s. Does anyone have any idea about the value of these?? http://www.jombie.com/PRS/prs.html

    509 vs Semi-Hollow special

Thank you, Mozzi. Now I'm confused. My understanding was that the Narrowfield is a single coil. When I had the chance to play one briefly, when in position 2 or 4 there is a very noticeable single coil sound even if the two humbuckers are not tapped. Then tapping one of the humbuckers just kicks...
