What species of rosewood does Silver Sky use?

Sorry for any misunderstanding! But thank you for your answer. I figured Indian Rosewood, but I couldn't find any source confirming it. When in doubt, trust the PRS forums. Thank you, Garrett!

What species of rosewood does Silver Sky use?

My bad! My post was quite vague in terms of proper explanation. I'm not looking for a silver sky with a flamed maple neck, specifically! I am, however, buying a strat with a flamed maple neck, but I want one that has the same fretboard as the Silver Sky since that's the nicest one I've played...

What species of rosewood does Silver Sky use?

I'm about to get a new guitar, but I'm not sure if I want a maple or a rosewood fretboard. I have way more experience with maple than I do with rosewood, cause I've only ever owned one rosewood guitar, and didn't put much thought into the feel of it before it was gone. I guess I'm leaning more...

    Silver Sky PS?

Hey guys! Does anyone know if it's possible to get a private stock silver sky? I mean, I suppose it most certainly would be possible, but I've never seen one so far! I'd love to see PRS work their magic with fancy stained flame maple silver sky's.

    Help me choose!

I actually found a PRS Studio on eBay last night, although for a suspiciously low price. It was $1000 bucks, looked really nice, but felt too good to be true. I asked about the condition, and it has since been relisted at $2500. Feels like the seller didn't quite know what these retail for. But...

    Help me choose!

I was originally about to put Paul's on the poll, but was a little discouraged. Trem isn't a must-have, since I rarely use it, but at the same time I feel it's nice to have the option, especially since I've heard so much great stuff about the PRS trem!

    Help me choose!

Flexibility is definitely a plus. I play a bit of everything. Gotten into a lot of Grateful Dead lately, but other than that, blues and R'n'B is something I always come back to. But then there's everything from pop to rock, occasionally. Plectrum and a lot of fingerstyle, too.

    Help me choose!

That's what I've been thinking for a while, too! Out of them all, it's definitely the one that can produce the most amount of tones. The narrowfield really opens up for some sweet tones with the 5-way switch. John Mayers super eagle really inspired my love for this type of configuration...

    Difference Custom 24-08 and 408?

Thank you for helping me understand! I listened to some demos and found I liked the traditional humbuckers better!

    Difference Custom 24-08 and 408?

Thank you a ton for that, this really cleared things up for me! The modern tone of the 24-08 definitely pleases my ears more than the vintage sound of the 408! Haven't looked too much at the 24-08 aside from the SE's, but this sounds like a real gem! Thank you!

    Help me choose!

I'm having some issues deciding which guitar I want to go for. I do not yet own a PRS, but I've been actively researching them nearly every day for the past 8 months or so. I know all the models and how they work, but with that, it makes it even harder to choose. The only thing I know is that...

    Difference Custom 24-08 and 408?

I'm still sort of new to the mechanics of tapping, but can't both humbuckers in the 408 be individually tapped, as well? And also, thank you!

    Difference Custom 24-08 and 408?

So the 24-08 has two humbuckers, much like the 408. Only difference I can see is that the 408's treble pickup is a bit wider, but is it any different in terms of sound? And then you got the coil tap switches for both guitars, giving you the single coil-type sound. So what's the difference...

Thanks for the tip! I'll check them out!

    PRS Special Semi-Hollow

Oh yes, I was referring to the 2021 Core Model, thanks for clearing that up. Really intrigued, because it looks so much like the Super Eagle which I absolutely love!
