Thank you customer service (I thought a new thread was in order)

I have never been more impressed by a company that I have been with PRS!!! Yesterday I was playing my new Achron combo and had some noise and a vibration. Turns out power tube rattle. No big deal these things happens and tubes are finecky animals. Call customer service and explain its my only...

(Belated) New Archon 50 Combo day

Depending on your pickups and setting, lower gain stuff is really more than attainable with the amp. The eq does a ton to shape and if you run guitar volume a little lower you have a perfect rhythm sound and just tweak up for solos. The clean channel also takes pedals really well if that's your...

I hope I don't also want the 100 (the paisley edition is killer though)

(Belated) New Archon 50 Combo day

If sevenmxf snags a 100 head and has the 25 combo I think he'd surely be president!

(Belated) New Archon 50 Combo day

I like Mesa stuff, I just could never get on with all the controls. I mean for some it's great, but I'm just not the kind of player. I want to find a great tone quickly and if need be tweak it slightly. Even though I use a modest board (tuner, phase, chorus, delay) I've been mostly playing the...

(Belated) New Archon 50 Combo day

Some of you may have seen my thank you to PRS in the general section, but I didn't write a proper new amp thread... Quick backstory I'm fairly new to PRS (owning not lusting after) I am a very split guitar player in that I love really heavy gain as equally as a good clean. This usually involves...

A simple thank you to PRS (albeit a little long)

Sorry if I'm replying too much, but the goodies keep on coming! Love this cover I got yesterday. It was only $5 more than the one I had for my previous cab (think high gain) and that wasn't padded. The front/rear padding plus pocket on the back is a great touch. Who knew they could look just as...

    Headphones

I had some of the Sony mentioned and they weren't super durable. They are a little bass heavy being DJ cans, but I've had a set of Pioneer HDJ2000s for years. The only thing I can reccomend is going on eBay and ordering a braided cable as the original is a little short

So this is my current band. Not sure what genre exactly, but it is fun for me. (There is a teaser vid on the page and a reverbnation link) just a house made demo until we record. Let me know what y'all think! https://www.facebook.com/withlegendsband/?fref=ts

What happened to the guitar Shops in the Boston?

I used to love GC on Comm Ave, but as said hasn't been the same since it moved. Daddy's closing was a big loss for used gear. All the before mentioned are great choices (Matts really is the high end destination in Mass). Mr Cs in Allston can have some good stuff, but definitely a smaller store...

A simple thank you to PRS (albeit a little long)

Thanks! One of the guys in my band is miffed I ditched the half stack; but I'm really happy to have a guitar on my back, small pedal bag in one hand, and amp in the other. Down the road I may snag an extension cab, but honestly being the lead guy I'm happy and its cuts like a knife
