I'm retired from the rock band scene.. I started playing guitar around 1973. Gigged from 1984 to my last gig in '96.
I used the typical 4x12 stacks with a crate full of stomp boxes...
Played the standard 80's hair metal stuff (though we didn't have hair, we were all military! HAH!).
Maiden, Van Halen, Ozzy....etc.
If I were still gigging today, I'd probably use something like an axe fx 2.. seriously.
My main instrument now is piano, which I play at church. Quite a change up aye?
