Hmm okay, what exactly is the difference between the customs that have the bird inlays and the moon inlays. From what I've seen the ones with the moon inlays were generally less than those with birds so I wasn't sure if there was a difference in them other than that.

Yeah I think that may be what I am leaning more towards because I have to factor in the cost of an amp and everything like that. I mean what is the real difference between the PRS se standard 24 and the custom 24 other than the maple top? Same with the singlecut?

I plan on playing a good variety, but more classic rock than anything.

The semi hollow that I am talking about is the one with the very simple hollow cutout rather than the more elegant looking f shape if that helps.
