Black. When I got my Cu24 in 1995, one of the first things I ever bought over the 'net was a set of PRS factory black pickup rings to replace the creams. I don't mind the cream as much on my Eriza Verde studio, but on a darker guitar I want dark wood or black plastic.

By the way, for strings, try plain old ordinary D'Addario EXL's. I've tried the DR's before but never found a significant enough difference to pay more for those over the D'Addarios.
