Advice on what PRS SE to get

I've got three different SE's and one Core model. The first one I bought was a used SE Custom 24, which I considered the original PRS model. I didn't really want/need 24 frets (my Gibsons are 22 and Fenders are 21 fret models), but it hung/felt like a Strat and was very comfortable. The trem...

Should i buy another PRS SE?

Three..... Oops, wrong question. I thought the op was wanting to know the numbers of licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop.

Anybody using 57/08 pickups in a guitar with a vibrato?

I've got a used Wood Library Custom 24 with a 57/08 in the neck and 59/09 in the bridge. I like the 57/08......I LOVE the 59/09. The guitar apparently was ordered with this combination of pickups, as I'm not aware of the Custom 24 being stock with those pickups at any point in time.

How do you guys afford buying guitars???

At 19, I was working my way thru 6 years of college studies. I did have a couple nice guitars that I bought while living at home in my teens and working nights/weekends after high school. I bought the majority of my current guitars the last few years before retiring, and have only bought one...

    Williams Of Kansas.

Robbie Steinhardt's mom was my neighbor one year when I was going to college in Lawrence, Ks. Never did see him dropping by to visit, though. My room mate was friends with Dave Hope and I met him several times. Roomie was from Topeka, Ks. and grew up with most of the Kansas guys.

    RIP - Gary Rossington

I saw them once shortly after Steve Gaines joined. It was the loudest show I'd ever been to. Sure glad I got to see that lineup. Gary with an SG playing slide just looked so cool...

    We lost David Lindley today...

I saw him twice over the years. Once (prob 1977) with Jackson Browne, and once (prob 81 or 82) with El Rayo X. El Rayo X was unbelievable show....and they were opener for Joe Walsh. GREAT show....

    New PRS SE 594 models

These really look interesting to me....especially with the LT pickups. Anyone know what the fret size is on these? I haven't been able to find anything on any websites (so far). I played a couple of the Core 594's a few years back and the frets seemed pretty big/tall on them. Know it's...

    SE245 … compared to S2 594 SC?

The wrap tail bridge on the SE 245 vs. the two piece bridge on the S2 594 would be the most obvious difference to me. I prefer the wrap tail type bridges from years of playing Tele's and l.p. Jrs and Specials. Also, the scale on the 245 is 24.5 inches vs the 24.594 inches on the 594. Personally...
