I've been using TUSQ saddles in my SE Cu24 for years (TUSQ nut and saddles, brass block, Duncan JB and Jazz, CTS pots, grover locking tuners), and I have always felt that the guitar did not have a good sustain, when comparing to my other (and cheaper) guitars (LTD MH250, Jackson JS30 Kelly, Jackson JS22-7). I also felt the guitar was too bright, and the attack was "weird". But I never related it to the saddles.
Yesterday I decided to put the stock saddles back, and I could notice a big improvement in sustain and feel, and the excess of brighness was gone. Overall, it was an improvement going back to stock saddles.
So I don't recommend them to anyone.
