Tattoo

I'm 46 with no tattoos, so I'm thinking I should get one.
This is my choice ...

Man, that is cool.

Quintessential "rock star" pose. Will have to make mine look less like Jeff Beck.

Here's the quandary. A part of me would like to replace the Gibson with a PRS.
On the other hand, this is about rock history ... an original "Black Beauty."
What should I do?

Honest opinions appreciated ... don't worry, it's impossible to hurt my feelings.

If it were me, I'd leave the LP. As you point out, it is rock history. You could always add some well placed birds around the tat for the PRS angle. Also, not too small on the Beck portion. Need to have some detail. Where are you thinking about putting it? And, for the record, I'm 49 with 7 tattoos.

If it were me, I'd go for a silhouette version of whatever you want - it might work better. A good tattoo artist should be able to give you some good feedback

Skip the tattoo and go straight for the autopsy scar, it's a better conversation starter.
