Hey guys, so I picked up a sweet gold flake Starla a week ago. Unfortunately, it has a severe grounding issue. I though it was somewhere in my rig, but after plugging in my Tele and hearing 0 noise, the only other option is the guitar. I got it home and took the jack out, hoping that would be the issue because its a simple fix, but everything seems solid there. So I took the pickguard off and saw that the ground wire coming from the posts on the bridge is not connected to anything, its just laying in the cavity. I am by no means an expert in guitar wiring, but should'nt that ground be soldered to one of the pots or something to create proper grounding?
