I know, close, but I really want all those sounds the super eagle gets and 24 frets. I’m really tempted to purchase the special though. Your review of “the best guitar I’ve ever played” is swaying me.

PRS, IMO, has perfected the semihollow guitar. It doesn’t matter which of their models you choose, the semihollow edition is elegant and brings an earthy influence to it. I never felt that way about any other maker (except Fender’s ‘72 Tele Thinline...a real ‘72, that is)...seemed like a novelty and a clunky production adjustment to make it happen. Case in point, the RL Vela...class + quality + function.

Here's how awesome it is....I let him play mine, and two days later he ordered his. You should get one!
