So I have to admit that I am a bit envious of the headstock treatment on the newer SE guitars as they have a real class look. That being said there is no way I am trading my 2014 Zach Myers for a headstock change as I simply love the feel and sound of my particular example.
Well as you may know I did a vinyl headstock makeover on my SE 245 soapbar (here)
I thought I could do similar on the ZM...so here is where we started.
I did the same cutout of the headstock and signature but this time I used Rosewood DiNoc vinyl for the headstock and Pearl White for the signature.
Now lets get it in place , then install the truss rod cover and New locking tuners.
Now them strings.
So might as well put nickel covers, locking studs, black lampshades and maple trim rings on the body too.
Now we are all done!
