So I have to admit that I am a bit envious of the headstock treatment on the newer SE guitars as they have a real class look. That being said there is no way I am trading my 2014 Zach Myers for a headstock change as I simply love the feel and sound of my particular example.

Well as you may know I did a vinyl headstock makeover on my SE 245 soapbar (here)

I thought I could do similar on the ZM...so here is where we started.

I did the same cutout of the headstock and signature but this time I used Rosewood DiNoc vinyl for the headstock and Pearl White for the signature.

Now lets get it in place , then install the truss rod cover and New locking tuners.

So might as well put nickel covers, locking studs, black lampshades and maple trim rings on the body too.

Now we are all done!

I now have my own homegrown Artist Package SE

Thanks for the comments guys. I am not trying to make it anything it is not but I sure do like this look better. The bonus that I can remove it easily with no damage is even better.

I noticed that I am down to only 1 SE without this treatment. Maybe maple and black are next!

Hey that looks great. Never heard of DiNoc vinyl before, do they make other "woods"? Gotta go do some Googling.
