Well, I heard they won't build a 12 string, so I'd be very surprised if they'd take on an altogether different stringed instrument.

I wouldn't say that. You want what you want. Just don't think it would come from PRS.

I have a CBG that has no frets. The neck is a piece of round oak like a broom handle. Can only play slide of course, but I have a ton of fun playing it. I would not expect PRS would make a CBG either.

Haven't heard of this instrument before now. Holy crap, they're ginormous!

Fortunately for us, they're all too busy trying to keep up with the long back order of guitars to have time for side projects.

Actually that's the perfect neck length!

You can reach right over the cymbals and toms and smack your drummer with the headstock for various transgressions.
