PRS Archon Input Voltage

Hello guys, I'm wondering if the PRS Archon's amp input voltage is global? As in can I buy an Archon in the US and bring it to any country that has 220-240V mains without using a step-down transformer? Thanks!

I'm not about ready to answer this for PRS, but I've never even heard of such a thing. I'd be shocked (and reminded how much of a hack I am at that stuff) if PRS answered that this was acceptable. Can't imagine it working.

Best thing to do is fire off an email to Customer Service. [email protected] if I recall correctly.

There is a sticker on the Archon near the AC mains connector. Single voltage.

Thanks for all the replies! Looks like it's region specific then. I recall coming across some amps in the past where they can accommodate a different voltage by flicking a voltage selector switch and changing the fuse to suit the new voltage.
