hey guys, I know this has been covered over and over but i cant find the answers im looking for. I am setting up my rig and was thinking i might need a buffer but im not sure where to put it. My signal chain goes

Guitar
Akg mini 40 wireless system
Korg rack mount tuner
20 foot monster cable
Ernie ball volume pedal
Custom anologman channel switch Loop pedal ( tube screamer in the loop)
20 foot monster cable
Digitech drop pedal
Front of amp

I have hooked every thing up and there is a noticeable difference from going through everything to just 10 foot cable to front of amp.

Im guessing that the buffer should go after the tuner? Just confused where to put it

Typically a buffer should be the first thing your pickups interact with, so you normally put them as the first thing in your pedal chain. Not shure if the wireless system between them has any affect.

In your situation you would want it after the tuner.
Try it both before and after the 20ft cable and see which sounds better.

I'd get a buffer with two outlets, one for the pedalboard, the other for a tuner (or second amp). That's what I use. Suhr makes one that sounds fantastic.

A buffer should go first in the chain, UNLESS you're using a vintage style wah or vintage fuzz.

Doubt you'll see much difference with that setup. The wireless is the buffer here.
