What a beauty! Tone report please

The guitar is very bright, more so than anything else I own - think of the polar opposite of a braz necked guitar.
It has a very nice growl playing the humbuckers through a dirty channel.
Switching to single coil through a clean channel sings quite nicely.
In the 3 sessions I've had with it so far, I feel it is best served by keeping the guitar controls in the 6-10 range.

Sustain is notably shorter than rosewood. It is fine for stretching a note out, but you aren't going to hold it for bars at a time without some electronic assistance.
