My Kids Are Cool

Tonight, instead of the usual "screen time" that evenings have seemed to de-volve into since school let out, my 8 year old son, 5 year old daughter and I spent some quality man-cave time.

We listened to some Joe Bonamassa, David Grissom (my son is quite the fan of "Way Down Deep") and Andy Timmons. Then we worked on a few new song ideas, which they are rife with after coming off a week of God-rock from Vacation Bible School.

I was surprised when my son, 18 months old at the time, had expressed a preference for Journey. But I never dreamed 7 years later I'd be jammin' out with a cool little dude and dudette like I did tonight. God bless them
