Missed Opportunity

Driving my wife home from knee surgery today, when we stopped at the pharmacy, I realized I had just missed a chance to get a picture of my odometer at 66666 miles. I was at 66667. Parked next to the beast.

Just the other day I spotted that my car was approaching 66666. I missed it when it reached 55555 so I was keeping an eye on it. I left work when it was 66664 and stopped at traffic lights when it was 66665. Didn't I forget to look at it after that until I was almost home! Oh well, there's always 77777...

A couple of years ago I hit 100,000 miles on my 2005 Honda ST1300 motorcycle. Yes I did pull over and get a few shots ;-)
