metal side dot fret markers

do any models have side dots made of metal ? i have 2 sc 245 models the side dots are very hard to see. they almost look the color of dirty / tarnished fret wire material . one is a 2009 , the other a 2010 model yrs.

Um, I believe they are metal.

Yes, all the USA guitars (without binding, at least) had nickel silver side dots until I want to say 2012-ish? They also only had one dot at the 12th fret, which bugged some people, too.

they are very hard to see on stages w/ dim lighting, even harder when you are singing at the same time as playing.

I never had a problem with them, but apparently enough people agreed with you that PRS changed to white plastic with a double dot at 12. I've seen people mention putting stickers or dabs of white-out on their guitars in order to see the position markers.
