Living Colour on Seth Meyers

That was a solid performance.

Reminded me that their CD was in my first-ever CD purchase, along with two XTC CDs.

$18.99 for a CD. Those were the days.

Man, I don't remember the first CD I bought, but I do remember the first album I bought with my own money. A bus ride downtown to Woolworth's, and some hard earned paper route money, netted Woman and Children First, and Highway to Hell in 1980. I was 12.

I got three CDs in my first batch. One was Phil Collins "No Jacket Required". Not sure if the other two - I want to say one was Amy Grant's "Unguarded", but I think that's wrong.

My first 8-tracks I remember - Kansas "Leftoverture", the debut Boston album, and a K-Tel collection.

I love these guys and they definitely got me to listen to and enjoy kinds of music that I never had before.
