...it's really just house cleaning, not a need for cash. If you traded it in, you could walk out with either an SE 24-08 or an SE Santana with zero cash outlay. In either case, your spousal unit will add this transaction to the list of ammunition for a potential future divorce, so its a wash there. 
Under the above parameters, which would you choose and why?
Please note, I am not providing color information because it is irrelevant to the scenario. Other info of potential value. I do not own another 24 fret guitar of note (my "office guitar" is 24 fret but I don't really count that one). I really like the neck on my SE HBII, so will I be as happy with a wide thin of a Santana? Also, I will suck on either instrument so no delusions of either escalating my skillset.
