It's baaaaa-aaack...

I sent a message asking for back and serial number pics...haven't heard back.

Edit: Seller has added more pictures. Gash exposed.

Hmm, this post is OBE - I missed the previous few posts somehow, but still...

I wonder if the new owner will return it. Not disclosing the trench in the back is asking for an "item not as described" complaint.
It was described, I suppose:

SOME CARVING IN THE BACK TREMOLO AREA.

Now how you choose to interpret "carving" is none of my business...

And he/she added some pics, including the back trench. Says he/she has an sale possibly pending via Craigslist for $1000.

Yeah, this is a shame of a situation, perfectly good guitar scarred...

Pickups and pots can be easily installed but whoever gets it should put a set of strings on immediately and see how the neck behaves, check truss rod, string alignment, etc before doing anything else. And of course examine closely the whole guitar.

The seller's no returns policy is worthless on ebay. If a buyer finds something not as described, invents something that is not as described, or simply claims it did not meet his expectations ebay will usually side with the buyer and force a return and refund to conclude any case.

But yes, a shameful situation. Some people have more money than sense :)

Looks like his Craigslist deal went through.

I saw that it had a BIN of $1k, I guess that's what he's looking to get.

I plugged my zip into the shipping calculator and got $19.60. I'm considering a bid of $1.40. That's $21 large total...
