Just curious, of your PRS stable, what's your go-to axe right now? Spill! *points at avatar* [Edited to add a fresh picture, it was bad form to kick off a new thread empty. ]
It has been this guitar since the day it entered my stable. I don’t see that ever changing, but I’ll revisit that statement again when the new Buckeye SC594 gets here .
My go-to guitar is my McCarty. But, my Custom 24 is getting most of the work right now because it's better suited for my current band.
Easy call - I only have but one, a 594. Very small stable! Just a 594 and a strat means I don’t have to think too hard about options. I’m usually pretty clearly in a PRS mood or a strat mood... I can handle binary choices...
S2 Satin 22 - something about the smaller size of the neck, combined with the comfort of the satin finish, just calls to me when I want to sit down and play. I wouldn't say it's the tonal solution for every situation, I have different guitars for a reason, but when I just want to be comfortable, that's where it's at.
Lately it' been my beater ce22. This guitar is comfortable to play and while I seem to not be a fan of high output pickups, the dragon 1s are incredible. They should reissue these.
The Blach Myer, surprisingly. But to be fair, a lot of the keepers are going into storage for the move, so they're not as accessible. I deliberately left the Blach Myer behind so I would have something to practice on.
