Which 10 PRSi would you buy? Lets leave PS out(assuming most would have some built). Go with production guitars or limited runs. Not necessarily in this order:
1)85 custom in vintage yellow
2)86 standard in powder blue
3)Tonare Grand
4) Dragon of some sort
5)double neck
6)ME I charcoal
7)McCarty P90 gold top
8)Swamp ash of some sort
9)DGT
10)P22 faded grey black

That's a nice list there.

Amps can be substituted for guitars as done above.

I'd buy a house in cash first...than I'd buy the PRS I've been in love with for the past two years...
A PRS Hollowbody II in Charcoal Burst, 10 Top with standard birds, not the shadow birds, with Piezo
A 90's era McCarty in Tobacco Burst
A Tremonti in Platinum Silver with Trem
A White CU24 Baritone with a single humbucker in the bridge with a volume and tone knobs
A replica of Ben Burnley's green Baritone hollowbody with Piezo.

...that's all :)

A house, now that's just plain sensible!?! I'm talkin big lottery where you never worry about $ again. I would of course buy a house or 2. Hell, I'd buy a big enough piece of property to put a separate studio/rehearsal building on.

Not in any particular order and I'd love an extra 10 slots lol.

1) McCarty Soapbar
2) PRS Violin
3) Signature Limited in Faded Abalone
4) PRS Hollowbody 2010 in Vintage Natural
5) Modern Eagle 1 in Faded Blue Jean w/ trem
6) Dragon Double Neck in Whale Blue
7) Angelus
8) SC58 Artist Package w/ Hybrid Hardware in Black Gold Burst or Teal Black
9) Singlecut Hollowbody II Artist Package w/ Hybrid Hardware in Black Slate, Black Gold Burst, Charcoal Burst or Teal Black
10) Archtop in Vintage Natural

I get awfully sidetracked if I have more than 3-4 guitars. I'm really happy with where I'm at and what's being built.

But I'd buy my son a Collection set.

Thats a good point, I mean you want want to play them as well as just look at them so 10 would be two many

Blasphemy! You could sit around and play guitars all day, every day! Buy a bigger house to make room for the habit! I made my list going on bases I don't have covered. I love soapbars but can't really justify owning one for my current music situation - same with swamp ash. I have everything I "need" and am happy. But if I had a money tree and could play 12 hours a day just for the sake of doing it, I'd gladly take more tools for the trade. Why not, just for the pure joy if different palettes? More colors to paint with. I have 3 guitars that can all do the same thing and are similar. 1 of them is better for lead work, single note passes. One hammers rhythm like a mofo. The 3rd is slightly different altogether. Any one of them can get the job done of the others. But I need a #1 and a back up to it when I gig. I'd have a hard time letting any of them go because of their distinct personalities. If I had to, I would and could.

I guess my point being, if you could splurge without feeling the need to justify anything, what would you buy just for the pure joy of owning it and playing it?

I would certainly be buying guitars for charity work for those who can't afford to buy guitars. I would be doing a great deal of "Secret Millionaire" style things for programs for music as well as other things I feel important. But this thread was about making yourself happy instrument wise, selfishly.
