Still got the ol' tagger on it
Drove up from Boston to John Mann's Guitar Vault today. Not to buy a guitar (really!), but needed some parts so I figured why not visit instead of ordering online.
What a great experience! John was so interesting to talk to - lots of great PRS stories, anecdotes, and just a wealth of information. Also showed me around the machine shop, and we looked at a bunch of shiny brass NOS2000 trem castings in the CNC machine.
I played 2 PRS guitars I've always wanted to try - a DGT and a CE. The DGT definitely has some "quirky" features, but was a joy to play. Never had much interest in owning a CE, but after playing one today, I definitely see a CE in my future!
Thank you John for a great experience at the Vault today.
