My feet hurt. I'm hungry. And the gourmet food trucks are out in force. We're jumping in the truck to meet up with CRGTR and Jizzy Jeff at the Suhr Friends and Family party. The. Off to dinner with Zilmo and the Limeys.

That Vela......damn. I am a brass saddle ashtray bridge purist - to me the 6 steel saddles on a Tele just don't twang, but then again there's Brent Mason with his old 6 saddle Tele. But I'm a total barrel brass saddle fan.

I'm hoping for a twang machine!

That Vela looks way cool. Looking forward to getting more details. Does the bridge pickup split? And if the neck pickup sounds like it looks (like a DeArmond DynaSonic), that would be great! And here I got a Brent Mason in 2013--I can't afford another guitar right now! Darn...

Off topic, but they opened an In and Out burger here in DFW (Rockwall TX) last year (or so). The first few weeks police were directing traffic into and out of it... staff were walking through the line of cars taking and delivering orders. I waited for the buzz to die down and then my wife and I tried it out. I do not, for the life of me, see what all the buzz is about. It's just another burger...
