First ever CD purchase

Dina Carrol - Escaping I think. However my first purchase of music was on Cassette and was probably Spice Girls Wannabe.

CDs that changed my life were later on, with Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, In Flames, Metallica, Arch Enemy, Killswitch Engage and Creed and then it was all history. Now I listen to more Country music... must have been that purchase of a Shania CD in 1998 that has kept Country in me in the background. Life leads you a merry dance.

I bought Several CDs when I got my first player. One of them was Rush - Grace Under Pressure. Not sure about the others. The first album I bought with my own money was Styx- The Grand Illusion, when it first came out.

***Dumb Fun Fact...Grand Illusion was their 7th album, released 7/7/77...

First CD...Rush, Permanent Waves...Album...Starland Vocal Band ...Cassette...Steppenwolf VII, with Earschplittenloudenboomer (SP!!!???)

The first CD I remember purchasing on my own was Green Day's American Idiot. I had a lot of other stuff before that, commandeered from my parents' collections.
