Petrucci's rig has always given me a headache to even think about.


For anyone not into LaBrie and Myung, there's also Liquid Tension Experiment with Portnoy, Petrucci, Rudess (initially before he was in DT), and Tony Levin...




 
Yes! I've always liked LTE better than DT. Much more "jazz fusion" to my ears. And, I have to agree with others that no LaBrie vocals is an improvement...
 
I've got one of the EBMM Petrucci's as well - great guitar. The middle position is out-of-phase, and it always throws me for a minute or two. I just happened to pick a year when they didn't have coil splits.
