Does excessive sweat generally cause the finish to cloud up a little bit?
(...On whatever finish was being used in 1994. A white cloudiness seems to be visible where the forearm makes contact with the body.)
If so, is there an easy way to buff that out, or clear it up?
Suggestions?
Thanks.

I was in a band for a while with a guy who would play one show on a set of strings, and they would be black and dull sounding, with crap built up on them. The exposed pole pieces on his pickups were a dark brown color, covered with rust. One time, he broke a string and used my backup guitar the rest of the set, there was semi-permanent corrosion on some of the hardware the next time I pulled it out of the case.

The point of my rambling is, some people have body chemistry that will eat through stuff like hardware and finishes. It's amazing. I don't know what you could do with it, but buffing might be a good start.
