CITES and rosewood acquisition

Apologies if this is a silly thing to ask (or posted in the wrong place), I was just consumed with curiosity.

Having seen some recent press releases from FMIC and the like on the topic, I'm wondering to what extent these beefed-up regulations might impact PRS offerings?

Should I be extra grateful for the quality of my unfinished rosewood neck?

I think it will reduce how many containing rosewood change hands across international borders.

The first consequence will be a raise in rosewood prices, due to more paperwork, the second will be the discovery of various tonewood essences to replace it ,)
