Hey Guys,

New to PRS (and first post). Long story short I traded something I never use for a 2016 PRS CE 24, after some initial playability issues that a setup resolved, I have an issue w/ the back cover. It doesn't fit very well, and seems to be bent when installed to the point that the cover 'pops' away from the back of the guitar slightly - maybe 1/6". This appears to be purely cosmetic, can I just take it off and go 'strat'-style?

Is it the cover over the electronics, or trem-springs??? If its the Trem Spring cavity, go for it...some other PRSi come without that cover altogether when new. If it's the electronics cavity, I'd leave it on (or get one that fits)...dust and crap can get in that cavity and mess stuff up.

It's the cover over the trem springs... I also noticed the spring claw doesn't have a grounding wire running to it, is that normal?

It's there - hiding in plain site.

I've removed the back cover - good to go.
