Is there anyone out there playing an SE amp through non-stock speakers? I don't know what the Emi speakers in the SE amps are modeled after, but I have a hunch that they're similar to V30's, since that seems to be what's in a lot of the USA amps. Personally, the V30 sound isn't my preference. When I bought my head, I played it through one cab that sounded great, and then an Orange 4x12 with V30's, and I didn't care for that sound very much. Which wasn't much of a surprise for me. Now I'm running it with a 1x12 w/Emi GB128. Just curious to see what others are doing.
