Ajusting the tremolo bridge for PRS SE Tremonti

Hi there! this is my 1st time restringing the guitar and I put 52-10 strings and since these are way higher that the stock ones the tremolo bridge lifts up a bit from the body. I somewhat know how to correct these but am still afraid that some step that I should take is skiped... Once the strings are put, I will have to screw tight the 2 screws close to the springs but 1st I should use some block (or even maybe the tremolo bar?) to release the tension while im doing it right? After that I just need to make sure the bridge sits parallel, 1.6mm off the body and then it is all done. Well I might have to ajust the truss rod too but i belive that is easier... What are your thoughts?
 
Btw, should i keep tightening the screws until the bridge sits parallel? even if that take 2-3 full turns in each screw?
