Add 5 PRS to your collection

A year on the 594 has taught me one thing: right, wrong or otherwise, I crave another equipped with rock/metal upgrades. It needs a trem, also, and I'd even consider a Floyd. \m/ pickups or similar. Pattern vintage shares just enough in common with the specs of prior loves (defunct EVH models) to deliver some of the same feel, just coupled with a much cozier scale length for my purposes. The potential for a shred machine seems strong. Or maybe I need counseling.

Instead of trying to undo all the work put into the intended design like a toddler running amok with crayolas, maybe I could just learn to love a CU24 equally, like the rest of the world. (Hmm, could pattern vintage exist as an option for CU22/24?)

Rather than trying to correct my previous attempt at a list, I'm just going to say pretty much any solid-body with a RW neck in the sub-25" scale range could get snatched up. Ditto anything with Alex LIfeson's name on it.

I loved the 59/09'in the 594. I agree with your take on making one into a metal machine. Or, you could get a Santana. Seriously. A little beefier neck in the Santana, not wildly different than the Vintage, at least IMO. A fast player, with a trem. Tons of fun!

In no particular order...
  • Double-neck Dragon (blue or natural)
  • Dirty 100 with consistent stain in the top
  • Something from 33 West Street
  • Proto Modern Eagle
  • Paul's 28 #0/28
#0/28, huh? Have you seen said guitar? That would be pretty awesome.

Triple soapbar cu 22 with maple neck/ fretboard
DC 594
DGT

Those are some great ones Gush seems we have similar taste ;)

Funny Thing is I traded away my SCT to get the CU22 soapbar now I want an SCT again, maybe Howard will get tired of my ex and let me buy it back!!!

Very nice. Wife and I were in Lacrosse for a couple days. Spent some time at Dave's and man was that a mistake!

1) Wood Library 594 in Livingston Lemondrop
2) McCarty Archtop
3) DGT
4) Al D Prism
5) Retro Santana

I think eventually I will have the top three. The 594 is next on my list, but if an old school McCarty Archtop comes up for sale when funds are available, I will probably end up with one of those first.

I'll also be looking for a new place to live because I'm sure my wife will boot me out after the next guitar :)

Guitars, amps, basses...whatever.
It was hard for me to only do 5...so feel free to break the rules. :D
In no particular order(except the 1st, cause that's the first I'd buy if I could) -

1) Tonare Grand
2) Modern Eagle I
3) Paul's 28
4) Singlecut Dragon
5) SC594
6) Grainger GG4
7) '86 'Standard'
8) Dirty 100
9) Double neck
10) Westie

Have the first two which leaves:

The five "Owl" guitars. Just think how much it would take to purchase them all.

haven't posted in a while, but this should be fun!!

1. Singlecut Trem with #6 pickups, 10 top
2. 509 10 top
3. Santana I
4. My PS Singlecut concept
5. My PS CU22 concept

Otherwise I pretty much have what I want. Surprisingly, getting the PRS' I have cured GAS

Now that I have a clearer understanding of the Archon 100's capabilities, I'm gunna have to add one to my list. Sheesh, late to the party, as ever.

1) Swamp Ash Studio
2) 594 SC
3) DC3
4) Santana (Whichever one Bodia says I need, that one)
5) C24 Floyd (yes, I said that. Have to try a PRS metal guitar!).
