AC/DC’s Angus Young Joins Guns N’ Roses at Coachella, AC/DC's Angus Young Joins Guns N' Roses

While I am pretty skeptical about the overall chemistry in AC/DC, I have to admit that Axel does a pretty damn mean Whole Lotta Rosie. And when did the original GNR line-up start sharing the stage again? Damn...I'm out of touch.

A lot of people have asked for refunds on their European and American tour tickets they bought.
They do not want to support Axle.

Angus is playing with fire, and I am glad to see thousands have the common sense to recognize that and ask for refunds...

They should have gone with the lead singer, Darren Caperna, of the "Back in Black" tribute band from Dallas. It would have made AC/DC the undisputed worldwide heroes of the common, workingman musician and singer gigging away night after night playing their songs in every dive bar, roadhouse, and garage on the planet, in my opinion.

I don't know of this person, but I really like the concept: pick someone who is familiar with singing the material with a bonus that the might sound reasonably close to the artist they are replacing.

Excellent concept!

Watched the vid, pretty great representation of the band, the guy playing Malcolm's part even looks like him.
And yes, the singer sounds and looks like Brian, but there is no mistaking Brian's voice is better.
I hope Brian is able to perform in the future.

I have something to add to this thread later...

They could make him a Rock Star, which would be a great Journey if he didn't feel like a Judas.

Sorry for the poor quality, the poster frame I got off of Amazon has a highly reflective surface, and it picked up my drapes behind me.
This was with the drapes shut too, but my Canon Rebel T5i gathers in lots of light with the big lens I have on it, even in total darkness.
But since I dig AC/DC so much, I thought it about time to get a poster.
This one has all of their album covers on it.
Also got one for work to hang on my wall next week.

If you close your eyes and pretend you don't know it's Axl, sounds like a decent cover band. Yeah, i know. Brian Johnson didn't sound exactly like Bon Scott either... I'd be more concerned with Axl's reputation...will AC/DC shows now be starting 3 hours late?
