58/15 vs 58/15 LT

Apologies if this has been answered already... The pickup names still stump google and the forum search; I read through 80 pages of thread titles, but didn't see an answer.

I'm wondering if anyone has had a chance to compare the two? I've recently acquired a HBii with the former, but I'm interested in hearing what's different with the latter. Not just ad copy, but actual usage.

The LT is lower output (particularly in the bridge spot), so it doesn't hit the amp as hard, is a bit brighter, and clearer through the midrange. Consensus on the board seems to be that the LT is the more "vintage" sounding pickup. The standard 58/15 is still very much in the moderate output PAF vein, though, and the bridge pickup has a more commanding tone for overdriven rock.
