57/08 in a non-PRS guitar?

Hi,

Has anyone installed a 57/08 Treble pickup in an S style guitar? If so, what was your experience? Likes/dislikes?

I know someone here has PRS pickups in a ...LP style guitar, I think? I think they might even be 57/08s. And yes, they sound dreamy, but the guitarist is really good. I'd do it.
