Richie Kotzen

My list changes from time to time, depending on a variety of factors. Plus there are many that would only be redundant to these already great lists. So this is my list for today.

Jimi Hendrix - made the guitar sexy.
David Gilmour - made the guitar appear approachable.
Eddie Van Halen - showed that there are no limits, right way, or wrong way.
Steve Caton - hired him for an album I wrote 21 years ago, and he's an incredible player and great guy.
Sister Rosetta Tharpe - the inspiration behind many of my inspirations.

Richie Kotzen
Andy Timmons
Rafael Moreira
Mark Tremonti
Tommy Emmanuel

Slash - maybe it's just my generation because he doesn't seem to popular in this thread. Writing this as I wear a guns n roses T shirt
Jimmy Page - obviously
Jimmy Hendrix - the GOAT
Brian May - underrated
SRV - just amazing blues. period.

Honorable mentions:
David Gilmour
Eric Clapton
