2003 cu 24 rotary 5 way hfs. vintage bass

I have taken out the stock pickups in my custom 24 and noticed that after testing that the magnetic poles from trem to neck are as follows : south north north south ....can anyone tell me if this is correct as if the middle singles are selected they are not noise cancelling is that correct ? We're prs trying something different here .......I'm trying to install some bareknuckle nailbombs and not sure as if I need to follow this magnet configuration
